Tim Chadsey, Printmaker

The Monotypeprints Gallery consists of a collection of 40 digitally-reproduced fine art images scanned from original monotypes I have created over the last few years.

Some are representational, most are abstract. Many are colorful. Because of high-end resolution scanning technology available today, the images exhibited have been reproduced as quality fine art prints in a variety of standard sizes on archival papers.

Each print is shipped with a white acid-free 100% cotton rag mat and a 3/16" foam-core backing.

Ordering and pricing information for three standard sizes will be found on each of the enlarged thumbnails in the Print Gallery. Overall sizes (print + mat) will also be indicated.

Contact me if you have questions about specific images, the sizes, or the printmaking process. I hope you enjoy my work.

Cordially,

My Style

Tim Chadsey
As a printmaker, I enjoy the creative spontaneity, the colorful sizzle, and the textured "painterly look" that characterizes the monotype viscosity printmaking process.

I tend to favor abstract work over representational, and like both bold color compositions and subtle monochromatics with streaks and marks of sharply contrasting colors.

I work primarily on metal and Plexiglas plates and sometimes use very textured woodblocks to create interesting 'chin colle' transfers on transparent Japanese papers.
